Climate Change Blog Action Day

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by cdniseagle13 on 15-10-2009

Climate change is can be also called Global Warming. Climate Change means that the earth is HEATING up.

Here are some things that cause the problem

1. Smoking

2. Littering

3. Wasting paper

4.Pollution

5. Electricity

Here are the reasons why

1. Smoking can pollute the world, which will make animals go to different places the population will grow. Humans like you and me can get sick and sometimes we will get long-term eye infection (like what I have from my grandfather) or short-term eye infection.

2.Littering in the ocean can cause fishes to choke, and sometimes they swallow plastic and die because they can’t digest it.

3. Wasting paper is very bad for the environment, why? Because if you think of it the long way paper comes from trees. When people cut down trees, they are killing animals that live on trees and killing something that can help the environment. It’s just liked someone killing your friends.

4.Pollution comes out from cars, factories and some other things. One thing about pollution is that it smells bad. Pollution makes the air dustier than clean so it’s bad for us to breath in. Germs like to hang out in these kinds of places, so you can get sick with germs.

5. Last but not least, electricity. People leave their air cons and lights even though they go out. But some people think, why is electricity bad, well because making the environment uses coal and oil. You might think its okay to have oil and coal. Yes. But you have to burn the coal and that is bad for the environment.

If you don’t want global warming/climate change to happen, You can do these few things

1. Use a bicycle or public transport to travel around

2. Try and convince you relatives to stop smoking

3. Use less paper

4.Instead of turning on your light, Use the sun and if you are hot, get RECYCLED paper to make a fan.

If you follow these few rules and tell everybody, then it will help a lot. Every little bit counts! Sooner or later, the world will make a big difference.  This is it. One day, one issue, thousands of voices
